All teams in Landsdowne are there to help with the vast amount of work that it takes to keep a community a great place to call home. Volunteers in the community are needed and appreciated, so that we all work together, not for personal agendas, but for the betterment of the community as a whole.
This committee is charged with overseeing the maintenance of the community pool and patio area, and recreational areas, including the tennis courts, basketball court, and playgrounds.
The Pool & Recreation Committee builds our relationships with the pool management company and other vendors and addresses residents' needs and concerns.

The pool season is always approaching, and that means we need volunteers to help with the pool and pool house every year! The members last year did a wonderful job, and we’d love to have volunteers who are committed to making the next pool season just as successful.
You can expect to be involved in various ways:
- Help with pre-season opening tasks: April - May (e.g., light clean-up and organization of the pool house; staging non-furniture items on the pool deck)
- Help with pool season ad-hoc tasks: May - Sept (e.g., pool deck and pool house improvements based on community feedback; liaison with High Sierra; answer lifeguard questions)
- Help with post-season tasks: Sept (e.g., furniture inspection and inventories, etc.)
We encourage all past members to join again to bring their experience and know-how to ensure that the community is set up for another successful pool season. We are always looking for 2+ volunteers to serve as the project leaders.
