Abby Needs a Forever Home
Posted on Sep 8th, 2012
Hi, my name is Abby and I am a Labrador Retriever. What makes me unique, is I am 12 years old (was given up by my previous family who tied me to a lamp post with a sign they could no longer take care of me). I am presently being fostered, right here in Landsdowne by Cindi Potter (who can fill you in on all my details) and even set up a meeting.
The basics -- I love, love, love people -- am great on a leash -- know all my commands and corrections. I love to play, toys (squeaky toys are my favorites), love to ride in a car, look out the window, and settle down just fine. Though I am 12 -- I have no typical "senior" issues (no knee or hip issues, my eyes are clear, no arthritis, I can bound up stairs (no senior dog bunny hop for me), and I sleep through the night without having to make any special potty breaks. My foster mom says she knows I will be around for several more years.
My favorite place to be is with my humans -- and I will give you my paw when I want attention but I am not obnoxious.
For questions please call Cindi (571-237-5813 or firstname.lastname@example.org
(Abby)) or check me out on the Lab Rescue of the Chesapeake & Potomac Website (www.lab-rescue.org
) where you can read about me (Abby#12669), fill out an application and help me find my furever, forever home.
