Weekend Update - Septembr 9, 2011
Posted on Sep 9th, 2011

Hi Again Everyone –
What a difference a few hours can make! This little graphic just about sums up the last few days – Rain, Sun, Clouds, Thunder, Lightning, Night, Day, Flooding, and who knows what. Can you imagine if the rain yesterday were that dreaded 4-letter word – Snow! (We would be sitting under about 7 to 10 feet of white “stuff” right now.) Let’s hope that is a few months away!
In any case, a few end of the week odds and ends –
· The Pool is closed for 2011. With the weather remaining unsettled, and the chance still remaining for thunderstorms and additional bad weather through the weekend, the Pool Committee made the decision to not reopen for the weekend. Sad for some, we know. For others, next year we will roll in an extra week or two to the pool season.
· Want to know the latest with the Hilltop Center? Please check out our website homepage for an update by Jay Dick, BOD Member and Government Liaison Chair. Wegman’s is coming in early 2013.
