Hi Landsdowne,
A few quick updates --
- There is NO TRASH PICKUP TODAY, because the trucks are unable to maneuver streets safely. The next trash pickup will be Monday, February 15th. This is a holiday, but regular trash service will take place. The next recycling day will be Thursday, February 18th.
- If trash is sitting out, in many cases since last Monday, please bring it back inside until regular pick up next Monday. Leaving unattended will impede snow removal, and also become a magnet for area wildlife.
- Snow removal continues. All streets will receive continued attention to plow additional areas, to reduce snow piles and to open the streets. Please be patient. It is a very long, involved process.
- To clear up any confusion -- we communicate with you in three primary ways. The first is by email blasts (such as this one) sent by Armstrong Management Services. The second communication tool is our community website -- www,landsdowne.org.. Please take a moment to go to the website and register. Where information is time-critical, up to date postings will be placed on the website in real time and emails may be sent directly from the website -- but only to people signed up there. This is why it is necessary to sign up through both Armstrong Connect and www.landsdowne.org . Our third source of communication is through Facebook (www.facebook.com through our community group, Landsdowne Community Association). Though to some, this may seem duplicitous. We attempt to communicate as quickly as possible through as many sources as we can.
- The February HOA/Board Meeting, open to everyone, will be held Wednesday, February 17th. The start time for the open session meeting is 7:30 pm. The location is the Kingstowne Active Adult Center next to the library in the Landsdowne Center. Everyone is welcome.
