to the official site of the Landsdowne Community Association. The
Association provides municipal-type services to residents of Landsdowne.
The services are funded through annual assessments, paid by property
owners, allocated through Armstrong
Management.
Landsdowne
is located three miles south of Springfield Mall and only 5.5
miles south of the Beltway in Alexandria. Our location is
convenient to Fort Belvoir, Kingstowne, Alexandria, Springfield,
Mount Vernon, Burke, Fairfax Station, Lorton, Arlington and downtown Washington D.C. |
The community offers ready access to Interstates 395 and 495, and
to the Franconia-Springfield and Van Dorn Street stations on
Washington's Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) system,
providing an easy commute to the area's major employment centers.
Public transportation is available within the community with bus service
provided by Fairfax Connector.
Landsdowne is a small community located in the Franconia-Springfield
area of Northern Virginia's Fairfax County. Landsdowne offers
a wide variety of affordable, classically styled single family homes and
townhomes in a warm, friendly community. This peaceful
community offers a swimming pool, two tennis courts, one multipurpose
court, several tot-lots and bike path. Builders were Pulte Home
Corporation and Richmond American Homes of Virginia.
Fairfax County Park Authority gives
golfers the opportunity to play through the seasons on quality courses
within the county at affordable prices. All courses are professionally
designed and carefully conditioned and maintained to provide the finest
golfing in Northern Virginia. Courses are open year round, weather
permitting.
