some business. I know you're sick and tired of hearing about this,
but apparently some of our neighbors still haven't got the
message. PLEASE DO NOT put your trash out until after sunset on
Sunday for Monday pickup, and after sunset on Wednesday night for
Thursday pickup. Thank you for keeping our community beautiful.
Now for some fun!
The Events Committee has been busy planning lots of fun activities
for the rest of the year. Here's what's in store:
- August 24 -
Pizza Night and Movie Float. Enjoy a family-friendly movie
while keeping cool in the pool.
- Sept 15 -
3rd Annual Doggie Swim. Our most popular event will be
offered in the morning and early evening. Contact Cindi
Potter for additional information.
- Sept 22 -
Community Yard Sale. Contact Pat
Matzdorff, to reserve your space.
- Oct 13 -
Community Festival. This is our biggest event. We've
planned lots of activities for the entire family, including a
BBQ and DJ'd dance. Also included is an Arts & Crafts sale
and a showcase for community business owners to share
information with neighbors. Contact communications@landsdowne.org
to see at the Arts & Crafts sale or to exhibit your
business.
- Oct 27 -
Halloween Parade and Party. Community kids and canines get
to show off their Halloween costumes, then gather for a party
at our haunted house.
- Nov 3 -
All-Holiday Yard Sale. Do you have holiday
decorations and ornaments that you no longer use? Here's
a chance to sell those holiday treasures. Contact Pat
Matzdorff to reserve a space.
- Dec 16 -
Community Holiday Walk. We'll meet at the pool parking lot
and take an evening stroll through the neighborhood viewing
holiday lights and decorations. Some neighbors will invite us
in for holiday treats.
REMINDER:
Landsdowne has gone green, so printed materials such as
newsletters and flyers will be limited. Make sure to stay informed
by checking our website for all the updates on events and
meetings. Looking forward to seeing everyone at all the events and
our next HOA meeting, September 13.
