Landsdowne is located three miles south of Springfield Mall and only 5.5 miles south of the Beltway in Alexandria. Our location is convenient to Fort Belvoir, Kingstowne, Alexandria, Springfield, Mount Vernon, Burke, Fairfax Station, Lorton, Arlington and downtown Washington D.C.  

The community offers ready access to Interstates 395 and 495, and to the Franconia-Springfield and Van Dorn Street stations on Washington's Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) system, providing an easy commute to the area's major employment centers.  Public transportation is available within the community with bus service provided by Fairfax Connector.
